Brains, Brawn and Beauty
Early 2007, a small group of women with a love for skating and all things related got together to form a women’s flat track derby league, which would come to be known as the South Florida Roller Girls. However, recruiting women in a small town proved harder than expected so when SFRG was approached by the ladies of the Indian River Derby Girls to merge, a new bond was formed. IRDG had a great run, and were recognized quickly as an up-and-coming derby team.
